The much awaited HP Mini 311 is now available for order on HP website. With a starting price of $399.99, you get a netbook with 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. It comes with an 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU in the original specs, but you may choose to configure it with the Intel N280 CPU but with additional fee of course.
The HP Mini 311 is the first netbook from HP to use the NVIDIA ION LE platform which bundles a low power Intel Atom processor with NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics. HP’s Mini 311 adds a larger, high-definition display and advanced graphics to a basic Netbook, while keeping the price very appealing. Once it starts shipping with Windows 7, this could become our favorite Netbook.
