Asus is coming up with a series of 12-inch netbook called the Eee PC 1201. So far there are 3 models that we know Asus is offering:
1. Eee PC 1201HA
The Asus Eee PC 1201HA was first released in Italy, and was recently made available in the US. Although having a same model number, the Eee PC 1201HA has a different specs for two different countries. The Italy version features a 12.1 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU, GMA 500 graphics, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive and a 6 cell battery; while the US version comes with only 1GB of RAM and 160GB hard drive, with other specs similar to the Italy version. The US version of Eee PC 1201HA is currently available on Best Buy for $329.99.
2. Eee PC 1201N
The Eee PC 1201N is the first netbook from Asus that comes with NVIDIA ION graphics. It features a 12.1-inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, an Intel Atom 330 dual core processor, NVIDIA ION graphics, 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. While the Eee PC 1201N is not yet released, Laptop Magazine and Electric Pig already got a chance to get their hands on this netbook. 3. Eee PC 1201T
The Eee PC 1201T model will use a completely different chipset. Asus introduced the netbook at an event in China. The Asus Eee PC 1201T will feature a dual core 1.6GHz AMD Neo MV40 processor, ATI RAdeon HD3200 graphics, a 12.1 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1.
