The MSI Wind U100 Plus which was released earlier this year is a refined version of the MSI Wind U100, the first netbook from the company. It is basically a modest upgrade to its predecessor. Both the original MSI Wind U100 and the PLUS version have the same keyboard, case design, and screen. The only difference is that the PLUS version has a slightly faster processor. The company replaces the Intel Atom N270 CPU (1.6GHz and 533MHz FSB) with an N280 processor (1.66GHz and 667MHz FSB) on the PLUS version.

The full specification of the MSI Wind U100 PLUS is as follow:

  • Intel Atom N280 processor , 1.66GHz, 667MHz
  • 10″ 1024×600 LCD Panel Display
  • 1GB RAM (upgradable to 2GB)
  • 160GB SATA HDD
  • 1.3M Webcam

  • Built-in 802.11b/g/n WLAN Card / Bluetooth V2.0 EDR Supported (Bluetooth is optional)

The classic MSI Wind U100 was the first 10-inch netbook that hit the market, and its performance is already pretty good at that time. The MSI Wind U100 PLUS makes it even better. Check out the videos below for an overview and gaming test on the MSI Wind U100 PLUS.
