MSI recently announced a new 12.1-inch netbook called the MSI Wind U230, which doesn’t seem to belong to our usual netbook fare. It has a 1.6GHz AMD Congo Neo X2 processor, ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics, and supports DirectX 10 and HD video playback.

Hmmmmm, a dual core netbook with HD capability. Now were getting closer to something more usable. Probably around 1/2 or 2/3 the price of a Macbook. Had I not gotten such a good deal on the U100, I would’ve waited on the U230.
