The Acer Aspire One 532h is the flagship netbook of Acer. It runs on Intel’s Pine Trail platform and the new Atom N450 processor, which gives the machine a longer battery life (8 hours according to Acer). It also has a larger keyboard and trackpad compared to its predecessor, the Aspire One D250. And the best part is, the price for the Aspire One 532h netbook is pretty competitive (below $300).

Thanks for the heads-up regarding the correct memory card. I can also verify the correct one is PC2-6400 800Mhz for the AO532h. And, yes, it will not work unless you first upgrade the Bios.
When I bought the netbook this past weekend at J & R in NYC, they sold me the PC2-5300 card, as that is what Acer specifies. Luckily, I came across this forum before I opened the package.
Thanks again.

If my choices are limited to the Windows 7 Starter (installed), or Windows XP Professional, which would be preferable, and what are the pros & cons? Many thanks…
