Intel recently launched their app store for netbooks, called the AppUp Center. It’s currently still under beta, and available only for U.S. and Canada residents. In order to register, you will need to provide a billing address and also Credit card information since some application in the app store are not free. The AppUp Center will come pre-installed on new netbooks from Samsung, ASUS and Acer.
Apps are mostly stupid, most cost too much and the site is very, very slow! If they expect to have the enormous success of the iPhone app store then they have a lot more work to do.
