Acer Aspire One 532g With Nvidia ION 2 Benchmarked

The Acer Aspire One 532g with the new Nvidia ION 2 is coming soon.. and while waiting for it’s arrival, let’s see how well it performs compared to the first generation of ION netbook.

Netbooknews.com has got a chance to spend sometime with the Aspire One 532g, and ran the 3DMark03 benchmark. The result? It scores 3049 which is much better than the Samsung N150 which scores 704 and running Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics. THe Samsung N510 which runs on the first-generation ION graphics however score 3513 points which is surprisingly higher than the ION2 netbook. On the other hand, the addition of Optimus to dynamically switch between integrated Intel graphics and the ION chipset to save battery life is definitely a great feature to have for the ION2 platform.
