How To Install Windows 7 Ultimate On A Netbook

Most netbooks now come pre-installed with Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition. There are quite some limitation on this version of OS (check it out here: limitation of Windows 7 Starter) and if you want to overcome those limitation, you need a higher version of Windows 7 such as the Home or Ultimate version. Below is a video showing you how to install Windows 7 Ultimate on a netbook. Basically, what you need is an external DVD drive and the installation CD of course. The whole installation took about 55 minutes, and you will need to run Windows update to search for missing drivers after the installation.

The netbook being used in the demonstration video below is the Samsung N120, but the process is the same across all netbook models.
