Lenovo recently announced a new netbook model called the Ideapad S10-3s. It’s basically quite similar to the Ideapad S10-3, only with the following few changes:
- External design – compared to the Ideapad S10-3, the s10-3s has a rounder curves on the lid and newly designed buttons on the screen bezel (round instead of square)
- Specification – the ideapad S10-3s has additional options for Atom N470 processor, SSDs and higher resolution 1280 x 720 display.
- Software – a new suite of software including DirectShare for syncing your files with another PC and Maplife for detecting your location over a WiFi connection.
Here’s the rundown of the specification for Lenovo Ideapad S10-3s:
- CPU: Intel Atom N450 or N470
- Display: 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel or 1280 x 720 pixel
- Memory: Up to 2GB
- OS: Windows 7 Starter, Windows XP
- Storage: 160GB, 250GB, 320GB hard drive, or 16GB, 32GB solid state disk
- Connectivity: Optional Bluetooth, 3G modem
- Battery: 3 cell or 7 cell
It will start shipping in mid-April and will be available in 3 colors: white, black, and “spring flowers”. The starting price will be $379.99.
