The Asus Eee PC 1005PR which features the Broadcom Crystal HD Accelerator, and 1366 x 768 resolution display start shipping last week. However, a few customers who ordered this netbook from Amazon found their units to come without Broadcom Crystal HD chipset. You can read their comments on Amazon
Due to this issue, Amazon has temporarily stop accepting order for the 1005PR. If you have previously bought the 1005PR from Amazon or any other online stores, double check your unit to make sure it comes with Broadcom Crystal HD chipset. Our friend, Chris from netbookreviews.com has contacted Asus on this matter but has not got a clear reply from Asus yet. For those who are interested in this netbook, hold off on purchasing this machine until it gets sorted out.
