Samsung has recently released a “Plus” version of the N150 netbook, what it has in difference with the original N150 are:
- The N150 Plus has 250GB storage space while the original N150 only has 160GB.
- The N150 Plus gets an extra utility for reducing power in sleep mode which is not available in the original N150.
- The N150 Plus gets an extra fast boot utility which is not available in the original N150.
- The N150 Plus comes preloaded with Microsoft Office Starter Edition 2010 which is not available in the original N150.
The folks at Laptop Magazine has already done a review on the Samsung N150 Plus, and found this netbook to be pretty decent (rated 4 out of 5). They complement the N150 plus for its attractive design, glare-free matte display, great audio quality, and excellent power/sleep management. Here’s their final verdict:
“The Samsung N150 Plus has it all: good looks, decent performance, long battery life, and a keyboard that doesn’t frustrate our fingers. We especially like how little power this netbook uses in sleep mode when you take advantage of its Fast Boot software. Overall, we prefer the $70 cheaper ASUS Eee 1001P because it has a better touchpad and lasts longer on a charge. But style mavens who want good audio quality and the ability to use their netbook outdoors will be satisfied by this machine.”
