Toshiba NB255 Netbook Now Shipping

The Toshiba NB255 announced earlier this month is now available for purchase on Amazon for $299.99. While it gets a new Intel Atom N455 processor which is DDR3 compatible, the default specs still comes with a DDR2 RAM. The details specs is as following:

  • 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N455 processor
  • 1 GB DDR2 RAM
  • 160 GB SATA hard drive
  • 10.1-inch LED backlit widescreen display
  • Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 video processor
  • Microsoft Windows 7 Starter
  • 8.3 hours of battery life

According to Amazon customer review, the NB255 has a great quality keyboard, great battery life, great monitor brightness, color and clarity, and very few bloatware. Check out the full review here.
