Acer Aspire One 522, The First AMD Fusion Netbook Leaked

Marcles has once again leaks a new Acer netbook model called Aspire One D522 which is also the netbook running on AMD Fusion architecture:

“It uses an AMD C-50 “Ontario” APU, with two cores, clocked at 1GHz each, and a total TDP of 9W. This includes Radeon 6250 graphics, which support DX11 as well as UVD3 for accelerated video decoding.”

The next generation AMD Fusion platform is a new approach to processor design which combines general processor execution and 3D geometry processing and other functions of modern GPUs into a single package. Other specs for thie AO522 includes:

  • 2GB DDR3 RAM
  • 500GB HDD
  • 1280 x 720 10.1″ display
  • 6-cell battery
  • HD webcam
  • 802.11b/g/n WiFi
  • Bluetooth+EDR
  • 10/100 LAN
  • Windows 7 Starter

In terms of appearance, it has the same chassis and design as the Aspire One D255 but with more color option. Netbooknews.de has spotted the Aspire One D522 to be listed on a Thailand online store for 12,829 baht which converts to $425 USD.
