Few weeks ago Samsung announces the series 9 laptop to compete with the Macbook Air, and now they are announcing another 2 new models, the series 2 and series 4, to compete in the low-cost ultraportable market.
Both the Samsung Series 2 and Series 4 will have a 12.5-inch screen and are made of “super-hard external casing” chassis with metal hinges. The series 2 will be equipped with a lower-end Intel Celeron processor; while the Series 4 will have Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge Core i3 / i5 and i7 processors. Other specs for the 2 mini laptops include up to 4GB of RAM, 320GB HDD, 1.3MP webcams, and 6-cell batteries. Both models are expected to be released on April. Pricing are unknown yet.
