Toshiba might be a little late to the U.S. netbook market, but being late is not always a bad thing. It gives Toshiba the opportunity to watch and takes in all the buzz being generated in the netbook market and glean from all the rants about these devices ways to improve upon its own product. As a result, Toshiba has come out with the NB205 which has everything that we would recommend for a netbook: a decent system performance, 8 hours of excellent battery life, ergonomic keyboard and touchpad that’s comfortable to use, and also an affordable price that’s according to the public’s demand.

Compared to Samsung NC10, the N110 comes with a higher capacity battery, larger touchpad, and an improved design which gives it a sleeker and more professional look. The Samsung NC10 is already a great netbook. The Samsung N110 takes it one step further which is why this netbook makes it to the top ten.

HP Mini 110 is the second generation of 10-inch netbook from Hewlett-Packard. It comes with a standard set of Netbook components, including an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB of hard drive, and Windows XP OS. The biggest advantage of this netbook is that it’s very competitively priced at $329. Also, the Swirl Imprint lid design that’s available in multiple colors (black, white, and pink) does make it stands out of the crowd in terms of styling.

The Toshiba NB205 comes in 2 configuration. While the basic version listed on top is extremely popular due to lower price, it comes with only Black Onyx casing, a slightly different keyboard design, and without Bluetooth feature.

These models here (NB205-N310 to N131), although are higher in price, they come in 4 color option: blue, white, brown, and pink. These models have a chicklet stlye keyboard, and do have Bluetooth feature. They are currently available in Amazon.com for $399.99. Each color comes with a different model name:
