We already know that the Asus Eee PC 1005HA is one of the best netbook in the market. Now with the new OS and hard drive upgrade, you can expect it to perform even better than before! (The earlier version, Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X, that comes with Windows XP and 160GB is still available but with lower price now)

This is a demonstration of using Asus Eee PC 1005HA combined with Windows 7 to play both 720p and 1080p videos. The results are as expected.. 720p videos run smoothly, while the 1080p video is lagging.. which is acceptable since netbooks are not meant for playing HD videos.

As mentioned in the video, you can still play 1080p videos smoothly on the Eee PC 1005HA by upgrading its RAM and overclocking it to 2GHz. Or the other alternative is go for the HP Mini 311 which features NVIDIA ION graphics.

The reason for the popularity of this netbook is of course due to its excellent quality. This is proven by the customer reviews.

Here’s another great review on the Asus Eee PC 1005HA. The reviewer is really impressed with this netbook, especially with the extra the long battery life. The only thing that the reviewer doesn’t like is the glossy screen which will become very reflective when being used outdoor.
