Toshiba NB305 Now Available For Purchase

Toshiba’s new Pine Trail netbook, the NB305, is now available for purchase on Amazon. There are currently 4 colors available: Royal Blue, Java Brown, Frost White, and Onyx Black. Similar to previous netbook models from Toshiba, the black model of NB305 comes with no bluetooth feature and with a normal keyboard, but is selling at a lower price — $349.99. Other colors of NB305 cost higher at $399.99 but features bluetooth and chiclet style keyboard. Other specs for the Toshiba NB305 are:

  • 1.66GHz Intel N450 Atom Processor
  • 1GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM Memory
  • 250GB Serial ATA Hard Disk Drive (5400RPM)
  • 10.1″ LED (16:9) 1024×600 Display
  • Intel Graphics Media Accelerator GMA3150
  • Windows 7 Starter Edition 32-bit

Samsung NB30 On CES 2010

Samsung NB30 is a rugged netbook that can handle up to 50cc of water spill on the keyboard, and also dropping from 30 inches of height without any ill effects. Also, it features an anti-shock hard drive that will automatically shut down when it detects the computer is falling. The whole chassis (lid, insides and bottom) of this netbook is made of a finger print resistant rubberized material.

  • 10.1” 1024 x 600 matte display
  • Atom N450 processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 160GB HDD with free-fall sensor
  • GMA 3150 graphics
  • 802.11/b/g/n Wi-Fi

HP 5102: A Touch-Enabled Pine Trail Netbooks

Besides the HP Mini 210, the company show off another touch-enabled Pine Trail netbook called the HP Mini 5120 in CES 2010. Some people might not like it, but one “special feature” for this netbook is that it comes with a handle which makes it easier to be carried around. Check it out from the video below:
