The Asus Eee PC 1005HA is no doubt one of the best 10-inch netbook in the market. While having a standard netbook specification, it has a great keyboard, stylish design, thin and light body, and up to 10.5 hours of long battery life. Asus Eee PC 1005HA is certainly one of the best netbook in the market. While its specification is similar to most of other 10-inch netbooks in the market, here’s what really makes the Eee PC 1005HA stand out from the crowd:

Those who need long battery hours, and seldom use their netbooks outdoor (thus no concern about the glossy screen), can go for the Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X, while those who often use their netbooks outdoor should go for the other 2 models with matte screen. The Eee PC 1005HA-EU1X is the cheapest among all, but is also the one with the shortest battery life.

If you want to keep up with Microsoft’s latest operating system, these are the 2 models that you should go for. Again, there’s one with glossy screen and one with matte screen, each having different battery life. Choose the one that suites you the most. The performance difference between the Intel Atom N270 and N280 processor should be minimal.

This is a demonstration of using Asus Eee PC 1005HA combined with Windows 7 to play both 720p and 1080p videos. The results are as expected.. 720p videos run smoothly, while the 1080p video is lagging.. which is acceptable since netbooks are not meant for playing HD videos.

As mentioned in the video, you can still play 1080p videos smoothly on the Eee PC 1005HA by upgrading its RAM and overclocking it to 2GHz. Or the other alternative is go for the HP Mini 311 which features NVIDIA ION graphics.
