Asus Eee PC 1201N

The Asus Eee PC 1201N is the first and only netbook in the market that comes with Intel dual core Atom N330 CPU (other netbooks usually feature single core Atom processors). Together with the NVIDIA ION graphics, and two-DIMM, dual-channel DDR memory architecture, the Eee PC 1201N is currently the most powerful machine in the netbook range. The battery life of this netbook is however shorter than other netbooks at around 3 to 4 hours. If you like to get a netbook with powerful performance and battery life isn’t your top priority, the Eee PC 1201N is definitely worth considering.

It might be more expensive and having shorter battery life compared to other Pine Trail netbooks, but in terms of specs and performance, it’s simply the best in the market. Asus N10Jh

Asus N10Jh is a not exactly a netbook. Is has a 10.2-inch display and run on Intel Atom N280 Processor, but comes with a powerful graphic card – NVidia G 105M. So when it comes to multimedia task, this machine really shines due to the the dedicated Nvidia GeForce G 105M. Below is a video showing the gaming test on the Asus N10Jh. You will notice that all of the games tested in the video are running perfectly smooth.

Other specs for the Asus N10Jh includes 2GB of DDR2 667 RAM, 250GB SATA Hard Drive, and Windows Vista operating system. This laptop also comes with an integrated Intel GMA950 graphic which allows you to switch to the integrated GPU when battery life is more important. The price of the N10Jh is out of netbook range as well. It’s currently selling for $669.99 on Amazon. For a small portable computer that’s able to handle multimedia task, we think the HP Mini 311 would be a better deal compared to this model of laptop from Asus.

The other features of this netbook includes 2GB of RAM, 250GB HDD, a 6 cell Lithium-Ion battery pack, 802.11b/g WiFi, a webcam and microphone in the screen bezel, 3 USB ports, a 3-in-1 card reader, a D-SUB VGA port, audio in/out and 10/100 Ethernet and an 11.6″ LED backlit display capable of 1366×768. You can get one at Best Buy for $399.
