One of the lower end Pine Trail netbook from Asus, the Eee PC 1001P, is now available for pre-order on Amazon.

There are 2 variation available: one with a lower price of $299.99 that comes with 160GB HDD and Windows XP Home, while the other one with a higher price of $339.99 and features a 250GB HDD, Bluetooth and Windows 7 Starter. The rest of the specs for both variation are the same as follows:

Asus Eee PC 1005PE is the updated version of the famous Eee PC 1005HA, making use of the new Intel Atom N450 processor and Pine Trail chipset. While it’s currently not yet available in the U.S., there are already quite a number of unboxing and review videos of the Eee PC 1005PE on the web.

New Samsung N220 Pine Trail Netbook Spotted

Other than the Samsung N150 and NB30 which were discovered earlier, Netbook 3G recently spotted another Pine Trail netbook from Samsung, the N220, in some online France e-tailer.

The Samsung N220 netbook appears to be the updated version of Samsung N140. The difference is that Samsung N220 comes with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, a longer battery life, and a chiclet style keyboard.

Designer Edition Asus Eee PC 1008P Now Available For Pre-Order On Amazon Germany

The Asus Eee PC 1008P is a netbook that run on Intel new Pine Trail platform. While it’s expected to be released on February 2010, a designer edition 1008P-KR, designed by Karim Rashid, is now available for pre-order on Amazon Germany.

The listed specs for this netbook are: Atom N450 processor, 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD and Windows 7 Starter. We also know that the keyboard on this netbook is chiclet style, and the battery is removable unlike the Eee PC 1008HA.
